Things to do in Gulf Harbors

Gulf Harbors has a list of fun clubs to join but there is, even more, to do inland!

Gulf Harbors Sandbar is known as the favorite spot of locals to meet up after their boat adventure on the Gulf. A short boat run into the Gulf of Mexico provides excellent grouper fishing, as well as offshore scalloping.

Residents enjoy the convenience of being able to kayak, canoe, and paddle board right from their backyards.

Some locals prefer the laidback lifestyle of soaking up the sun or watching the dolphins and other native wildlife; while others prefer to unwind at one of the popular dockside restaurants of New Port Richey.

The city of New Port Richey also offers many outdoor activities at their public parks, the most popular being Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park and the Anclote Key Preserve State Park. Sims Park is the place to be during the annual Chasco Fiesta that is hosted along Main Street and the Pithlachascotee River; it also includes a playground and amphitheatre. It’s a great place to make memories and begin your next chapter!
